Recommendations for maximum service life of rubber tracks:
- The right stretch of the track is of great importance during all operations. Follow the manual or get more information from the rubber track supplier
- Periodically inspect other undercarriage parts (idlers, rollers, sprockets). Wear and malfunctions can dramatically reduce performance of the tracks and their service life
- Avoid using machines with rubber tracks on surfaces with sharp stones or metal edges
- Minimize quick rapid turning maneuvers or turning on the edge
- Keep other materials out of undercarriage parts
- Do not drive with the edge of the track against walls, curbs or rocks
- If the oil or other lubricant gets spilled on the surface of the rubber track, clean it carefully. It can significantly reduce rubber quality
- If the machine is stored for longer time, protect the tracks from sun and rain
