Diagnostics of the undercarriage
The operational costs of machinery depend substantially on the price and service life of undercarriage components. The undercarriage, when loaded excessively, boosts fuel consumption, which increases the risk of breakdowns. To make the full use of the investment in the undercarriage, the service life with regard to the acquisition price should as long as possible. Long service life will then reduce the costs of operation.
We are ready to conduct expert checks and measurements, both standard and ultrasound, of wear developed in the different parts used in the crawler undercarriages of excavators, bulldozers and other pieces of building machinery. Timely servicing can save substantial sums and prevent for example a situation in which a single faulty part could shorten the service life of a larger set of machinery. By turning of bushes you will achieve the longest possible service life of each part of the undercarriage and equal wear.
Regular checks and timely turning of bushings and pins of lubricated chains and possibly the repair and re-sealing of the chain with rotational casings enable achievement of the longest guaranteed service life of your machine without unforeseen breakdowns and the best operational efficiency. Your investment in the undercarriage will thus be put to the best economic use and your construction machinery will achieve the best cost / operational hour ratio.
Rules for the maximum undercarriage service life:
- Minimize high speed in cases when machine is not working
- Use narrowest possible track shoes
- Change turning directions
- Set chain tightening according to operational conditions
- Perform visual checks of undercarriage parts every day
- Regularly remove other material stuck to undercarriage
